Professional Background
Mitch has over twenty five years of experience and is one of the founding Directors of EPCAD specialising in environmental planning, urban and civic design and landscape architecture. Since 1992 he has led and contributed to major development initiatives ranging from new communities to universities and science parks directing strategic input into projects at policy, planning and conceptual design stages. His strong design background is reinforced with a thorough understanding of environmental planning issues gained through various senior executive positions in Europe and Australia. The scale and nature of much of his work has led to experience in the production of environmental impact assessments and the giving of evidence at Public Inquiries and Tribunals on controversial projects.
As well as holding senior executive positions in consulting, he also has worked as a site development manager for a multinational retail company with an extensive property portfolio in the UK and America. The combination of his skills and broad experience provides clients with a planning and design approach encompassing an understanding of many, often conflicting issues. His work has taken him to Australia, America, South East Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
