Professional Background
Robin is a landscape architect with 10 years experience. He re-joined EPCAD in 2005 reinforcing the company’ senior consultant team. Robin has a broad range of experience within the landscape construction industry including full project management and construction.
Prior to becoming a Landscape Architect Robin was a qualified Civil Engineer in the UK and gained 5 years experience working on large-scale road construction projects in London. His civil engineering background has equipped him with an in depth knowledge of construction and urban design that enhances the landscape design outcomes.
As a Landscape Architect Robin has worked both in the UK and in Australia. In the UK Robin was a Director of a large Landscape Practice based in South Wales and gained a wide range of experience managing numerous urban design and construction projects from their inception through to documentation and construction. Projects included large-scale masterplanning, design of new settlements, town centre regeneration schemes, urban renewal projects, public parks, home zones and landscape engineering works.
During his previous time with EPCAD, Robin worked on a variety of projects ranging from the re-development of the Midland Railway Sidings, the new marina and sub-division at Exmouth, the Geraldton Port Strategy and the new Roselea subdivision in Perth.
Robin is currently working on the urban design of the new town centre at Wellard, new subdivisions in Geraldton and Kalgoorlie, the new Jandakot City development at Jandakot Airport, the Masterplans for various new housing developments such as those in Alkimos, Success, Brigadoon and Binningup, streetscape and regeneration projects in Newman and Port Hedland (for the local councils) as well as several other projects.
